Feline Forest Cat Sanctuary wants to spread our message of hope and compassion. We believe that a single action can make a difference in the lives of cats with no place to go. Feline Forest is a one-of-a-kind outdoor cat sanctuary, dedicated to providing a natural, gated habitat for felines that would unfortunately otherwise be either homeless, or in an animal shelter.

Why there's a need:
A growing population of free-roaming cats abounds in Florida. This is where Feline Forest steps-in. A cat's natural instinct, tells them to hunt, and we realize this poses a threat to the state's native small animal & bird species. People have long been trying to force local governments to support organizations that offer a controlled environment like Feline Forest. Without support from you, sanctuaries like Feline Forest can not manage large numbers of feral cat colonies, and thus, overpopulation in the wild occurs. Cats most likely end-up being euthanized either by facilities, or by citizens taking actions into their own hands. Even though law enforcement tries to enforce high penalties against citizens who euthanize feral cats, the fact is; without the safe-haven of places like Feline Forest, feral and unwanted cats are in constant danger. Feline Forest Cat Sanctuary offers a long-term solution to pet over-population in general, and particularly to cat over-population and the potential for damage on Florida wildlife.
